There’s lots of good conversation over at Active Rain on whether or not to use a ghostwriter for blogging. Most of the agents agree that when blogging to a database of past, present and future clients, the personal touch really does matter. As much as the writer in me hates to admit it, I see their point.
Blogging is a more intimate method of communicating with clients as opposed to cut and dried web content such as the “How to Stage Your Home,” or “How to Purchase a Home,” article type of content.
That said, I’ve read some pretty funky blog postings written by agents. Since your website, including your blog, represents you, shouldn’t it be the best it can be?
